Don’t wait for the flood to come before building or buying a boat. Don’t wait for a Yolanda to landfall before building back better systems. Don’t wait for tax deadline to comply or you’re criminalized, or like Manny, Kiminized.
When requirements become mountains nothing one can do but move mountains. Get busy, not stressed-out. Get savvy, not angry. Or outsource. Build templates and get 90% of the work done in advance. Or better still get 99% of the work done in advance? Yes, get savvy, outsource!
Zacchaeus, Chief Tax Collector of the Revenue District of Jericho of the Roman Empire, faced with the compelling presence of Jesus Christ, got savvy too. He returned half of plunder he could not really keep and must have lived happily after in stress-free peace.
HECC says find your friendly BPO and Outsource. The right BPO is as tax-savvy as Zacchaeus or your friendly neighborhood RDO and more cost-efficient.
Or better still and best of all, go find the best BPO of all time who said, “come to me all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest” (Mathew 11:28), and “for my yoke is easy and my burden is light”, two verses after.
“Cast all your cares on Him, for He cares for you”. (1st Peter 5:7) Wouldn’t Peter be a cool Business Process Outsourcer if he came back to earth today?

(What is HECC? HECC is a Blogspot in the CRC website where aspiring or accomplished writers find inspiration from Heaven or motivation for Earth, and contribute thoughts and words. It stands for “Heaven on Earth Construction Crew” inspired by Revelation 21:1 to 4, the passage in the Bible that tells about a new heaven built on a new earth when the Holy City comes down and God Himself dwells with men, to wipe away the tears from their eyes and there will be no more death, mourning, crying or pain for the old order of things has passed away. What the HECC, the Crew envisions the Word spoken, written, read and popularized in anticipation for the time when it is Lingua Franca and Language of all for all! And that can be here and now, AMEN.)
